Craft NightAbout UAB

Founded in 1916, the Union Activities Board was the first student organization established at MSU. The Campus Center was founded in 1999 and provided late-night weekend entertainment. These two organizations joined in 2001 to form the University Activities Board and continues to provide MSU with the best of social, educational and cultural events.

UAB has received the prestigious "Excellence in Programming Award" from the National Association for Campus Activities three times. The Board has also been recognized twice by Michigan State University with the University's "Excellence in Diversity Award" and UAB was runner-up for the Department of Student Life Student Organization Achievement Award. In order to produce our many programs, UAB receives approximately one-third of its operating budget from the Division of Housing & Food Services. The remaining portion of the budget comes from corporate sponsorships, fundraising events and vendor sales. UAB does not receive any funding from student tax dollars.

What We Do
The University Activities Board provides quality social, recreational and educational programs planned and implemented by students, for students in the MSU community.
